Full time here and it's the home side who have ran out deserved 23-9 winners. Irish enjoyed spells of dominance throughout the match but were unable to capitalise when they did. The sin binning of Yarde when they appeared to be in the ascendancy did little to help matter either. Quins were expertly led by fly-half Nick Evans and were far more clinical in attack. They may be a little disappointed not to claim a bonus point but a fine win all the same. Thank you for stopping by for our coverage, we look forward to bringing you more top rugby!
TRY QUINS. Recently crowned "Player of the Six Nations" crosses for his sides third try and it's game up! Evans can't convert. 23-9.
What did he do?
YES! Mike brown does it again :)
Irish camped inside their 22, this is exactly what Quins want. With only 5 minutes remaining the visitors will have to make something happen in the next few phases to have any hope of clawing back the 9 point deficit.
TRY QUINS. Winger Sam Smith scores in the corner after some relentless pressure from the Quins pack. Evans can't convert from out wide but his side do lead by double score, 18-9.
Perhaps the yellow card is having a big impact but Quins are certainly enjoying the majority of possession. Nick Evans dictating the game well from fly-half.
Both sides making a host of changes now as we head towards the final quarter of the game.
PENALTY QUINS. Disaster few minutes for London Irish just after they get back to within a point. Marlon Yarde who is due to join Quins next season is sent to the bin for cynical play underneath the posts. Evans adds the points and it's 13-9.
James O'Connor has hos first miss of the day as he fails to give his side the lead for the first time. Kicking into the wind he just didn't strike it as clean as some of his earlier efforts. Still 10-9.
