Still sick
Well said..hard to take .. But true ... To **** or to Connaght .. Well pick ourselves up& dust ourselves down & will fight again...
A dramatic end to the match where Brive have just about edged out Connacht and remove them from their perch at the top of Pool One. Connacht got off to the dream start when Rory Parata slid over the line following some good work from John Muldoon. But Brive took control after that and Thomas Laranjeira slotted three penalties before half time. The sides exchanged penalties before Thomas Laranjeira opened the margin to five points with 15 minutes to go. A moment of magic from Matt Healy brought Connacht very close to the line before some quick thinking allowed John Muldoon to give his side the chance to take the lead in the dying minutes. Jack Carty crucially missed the conversion and Brive were awarded a penalty following an infringement at the last scrum of the game. Thomas Laranjeira made no mistake from the difficult kick and gave Brive the victory. Connacht will need to improve on their goal-kicking and discipline if they stand any chance of winning this group. MOTM - Thomas Laranjeira
Absolutely killing ourselves!
Muldoon summed that up perfectly. Brive took their chances, Connacht squandered theirs. Just didn't do enough to win it. Disappointing.
Too many points missed from the boot!!!
Too many points left behind, again. Need an out half with a good boot.
Ronaldson out half
