Wasps win the scrum and Carlisle clears the ball towards halfway. 2 minutes left surely that was the last chance for Bayonne to get a losing bonus point.

Bayonne are not done yet and make lots of ground and make their way into the Wasps 22 but Fernandez knocks on at a crucial time.

Fantastic run from Simpson who picks the ball from the scrum and goes on one of his surging runs. He runs to the 22 and passes to Varndell before Spedding tackles him and Varndell gets his try. Carlisle misses the extras but job nearly done for the away side.
