Louie Henson

1st Jan 1970 1.89m/115kg Hooker

Henson officially began his rugby career in 2010 with the Rainier Highlanders while competing as a football player for Auburn High School. His exposure to the sport came much earlier; his father was one of the founding members of Bellingham based club Chuckanut Bay RFC and is a Western Rugby alumnus. Having been immersed in rugby his entire life, he quickly fell in love with the sport and decided to continue playing at the same school his father attended with Western Washington University (WWU).

Following his freshman year in 2013, he was a Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference (NCRC) 1st team selection and went on to captain the WWU Vikings from 2013 to 2017. During that time, he excelled as their tighthead prop and helped lead the Vikings to win the NCRC 3 times and propelled them to 4 national tournament appearances. Most recently, Henson spent time overseas with the Henley Hawks competing in the National 2 League South.
