Lalomilo Lalomilo is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays for the Chiefs in Super Rugby and Bay of Plenty in the National Provincial Championship (NPC). Born on February 12, 1999, he is known for his versatility and can play in the positions of centre, wing, or fullback.
Lalomilo started his rugby journey at De La Salle, where he captained the school's first XV. He then went on to play club rugby for Te Puke Rugby Club.
In his professional career, Lalomilo has represented Bay of Plenty in the Mitre 10 Cup. He was named in their squad for the 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 editions of the competition. His performances caught the attention of the Chiefs, and he joined the team during the pre-season of 2023. He officially signed as a replacement player in March 2023 and made his debut for the Chiefs in Round 10 of the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season against the Crusaders.
Lalomilo has also represented New Zealand at the under-20 level. He was named in the New Zealand U20 squad for the 2019 World Rugby Under 20 Championship, showcasing his talent on the international stage.
Known for his powerful running and ability to play in various backline positions, Lalomilo brings versatility and skill to the teams he represents. His experience as a captain and his contributions on the field make him a valuable asset to both Bay of Plenty and the Chiefs.
