A speedy scrumhalf, Jules Gimbert first made waves in France when he helped the French u20s win the Junior World Championship in 2018.
Gimbert developed quickly and was integrated into the Bordeaux senior team in 2017.
He become a regular in the team and by 9 April 2021, he had made 40 appearances for Bordeaux in Top 14, Challenge Cup and Champions Cup.
He signed a new deal with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season in April 2021.
