Son of former Western Province flyhalf Anton Chait, Jordan's playmaking prowess secured him a Sharks contract ahead of the 2020 Super Rugby season.
A Varsity Cup champion with Maties in 2018 & 2019, Chait steered his side to a 34-12 victory over Tuks.
After the competition, he was nominated as one of the three “Backs that Rock” and scored 125 points which included six tries which made him the second-highest points scorer ever behind Demetri Catrakilis.
Prior to his university heroics, he captained SACS to a historic 13-10 victory over the mighty Affies at the Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival in 2015.
He represented WP at under-18 level, Currie Cup under-19 and under-21 and won the Varsity Cup in 2018 and 2019.
Chait joined Israel side Tel Aviv Heat on a short-term contract ahead of the inaugural Rugby Europe Super Cup competition in 2021.
In December 2021, he re-signed with the Sharks until 2022.
