A promising talent in the back row, Joaquin Oviedo was called into Mario Ledesma’s 2020 training roster on his 19th birthday with the only notable experience being his time with the Argentine u18s in 2019.
From Córdoba Athletic club, Oviedo is a powerful ball-carrying forward comes from a notable family; with his older brother is Leonel Oviedo playing in the 2020 Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) for Los Ceibos.
Oviedo also joined the side but was yet to make his debut before being called into the senior national squad.
