Having impressed the Auckland coaching staff during his time with club side Suburbs, loose forward Jamason Fa'anana Schultz was named in Auckland's 2017 Mitre 10 Cup squad.
Originally from Ipswich, Brisbane Australia, Fa’anana-Schultz joined Old Glory DC for the 2020 season. Coming to DC off of Major League Rugby experience and a win on the USA Rugby Eagles Squad, Fa’anana-Schultz brought exciting energy to the forward pack in 2020.
While attending University of Queensland, the experienced lock and eight was invited to attend the prestigious International Rugby Academy in New Zealand.
Whilst in Palmerston North, Fa’anana-Schultz joined Super Rugby’s New South Wales Waratahs, starting his professional career.
In October 2021, he he signed a new deal with Old Glory DC ahead of the 2022 Major League Rugby season.
