A Collegiate All-American while playing for Saint Mary’s Gaels, Yungert earned a spot on the USA Selects team for both the 2017 and 2018 Americas Pacific Challenge.
Yungert has notably been playing flyhalf for Mystic River in the American Rugby Premiership during the off-season.
Yungert appeared in 15 of NOLA’s 16 games in 2021 including 11 starts, scoring 1 try, 4 conversions, and 2 penalty goals.
He is the all-time leader in MLR match appearances for the Gold with 43, two ahead of USA Eagles loose forward Moni Tonga’uiha.
In November 2021, he signed a three-year deal with New England Free Jacks through the end of the 2024 Major League Rugby season.
