Taione is a solid mobilehooker playing for the Exeter Chiefs. He has Super Rugby experience at the Waratahs and the Force. Making his Tonga debut in 2012 he has featured heavily for them since. He will represent Tonga in the 2015 RWC.
As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Taione has had 12 European Cups appearances, scoring 1 try and 5 points.
