Dillon Lewis

4th Jan 1996 1.85m/125kg Tighthead Prop

Lewis made his debut for the Cardiff Blues regional team in 2014 having previously played for the Blues academy and Pontypridd RFC.

Hade his test debut against Tonga in Auckland on 16 June, 2017.

It seems like the tighthead prop has already been around a number of years, such has been the continuing hype around Lewis throughout his career so far. However, at just 21 he's only made 18 appearances in three seasons, and as such will be hoping to double that during this campaign.

He was on the winning side in each of his first 12 test appearances before suffering his first defeat in his 13th.

With a full Wales cap now to his name he is certainly living up to his pedigree, and after a lengthy ankle injury picked up just before Christmas, he is fully fit and ready to take the number three jersey from stalwart Fa'ao Filise.

In January 2018 Lewis was named in the Wales 6 Nations squad and will look to add to his 2 Test caps in the competition.

Lewis didn't add to his test tally during the 6 Nations but will have another shot in June 2018 after being included in the squad to face South Africa and Argentina.

As of the 2018/2019 Champions Cup, Lewis had 11 European Cup appearances.

Lewis headed into the 2018 November International with 5 test caps but has since added to his tally for a total of 25.

From 2019/20 until the 2021/22 season, Lewis made a further 29 appearances for Wales, scoring just one try. He also made a total of 30 appearances for Cardiff.

In the 2022/23 season thus far Lewis has made nine appearances for Wales and ten for Cardiff of which 2 were in the Challenge Cup and 8 in the United Rugby Championship. No further points were added to his tally.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Lewis has been named in the training squad for Wales.
