After having stellar 2016 season in the Shute Shield for the Parramatta Two Blues, David Lolohea was granted a spot in the NRC for the Greater Sydney Rams. Lolohea was so impressive in his NRC debut, he earned a call up to join the Waratahs in 2017.
Lolohea debuted for the Waratahs in their first match of the 2017 Super Rugby season, and then moved to the the Sydney Rays.
He went on to sign for USON Nevers in the French Pro D2. Between 2018 and 2021, Lolohea played 64 matches for Nevers scoring 5 tries.
Folowing his sting at Never, Lolohea went to on to sign for Provence Rugby in the Pro D2. During his two seasons ( 2021-2022/2022-2023) at the club he has scored 3 tries.
In his international career, between 2018 and 2022 he has made 8 appeaences for Tonga and scored 2 tries.
