Calvin Nash, born on August 8, 1997, is an Irish professional rugby union player who primarily plays as a wing for the Munster club in the United Rugby Championship.
Nash's journey with Munster began in January 2017 when he was added to the squad for the 2016-17 European Rugby Champions Cup. He made his competitive debut for Munster on February 3, 2017, starting in a Pro12 match against Edinburgh. Nash scored his first try for Munster on November 26, 2017, coming off the bench in a Pro14 match against Zebre.
In January 2018, Nash signed a one-year development contract with Munster, earning a spot in the senior squad for the 2018-19 season. His performances led to a nomination for the 2018 John McCarthy Award for Academy Player of the Year. Nash further extended his contract with Munster in December 2018, signing a two-year extension.
Nash made his European debut for Munster in January 2020 in a Champions Cup match against Ospreys. He continued to impress and secured a two-year contract extension with the club in February 2021. In October 2022, he signed another two-year extension, further solidifying his commitment to Munster.
On May 27, 2023, Nash started in Munster's victorious 19-14 win against the Stormers in the final of the 2022-23 United Rugby Championship, earning him a championship title.
On the international stage, Nash has represented Ireland at the under-20 level. He was selected for the Ireland U20 training squad for the 2017 Six Nations Under 20 Championship. Nash captained the team and made notable contributions, including scoring a try in a match against Wales U20.
Nash was also part of the Ireland U20 squad for the 2017 World Rugby Under 20 Championship. In September-October 2022, he was selected for the Emerging Ireland squad that participated in the Toyota Challenge against Currie Cup teams. Nash started and scored a try in Emerging Ireland's opening win against Griquas.
In November 2022, Nash received his first senior international call-up, being selected by head coach Andy Farrell for the Ireland squad in the 2022 Autumn Nations Series. He started for Ireland A in a match against an All Blacks XV.
