Billy Pollard takes the next step in his rugby journey in 2021, joining the full-time professional ranks having graduated from the Brumbies Academy.
He chose Rugby and the Brumbies out of High-School after being pursued by League clubs, the livewire talent having excelled at both codes as a teenager.
Pollard’s standout performances for the Australian Schoolboys side which went unbeaten in New Zealand in 2019 showed just how dynamic the front-rower can be, and cameos in ACT club rugby last year for Uni-Norths certainly backed that up.
With three quality hookers already in the Brumbies squad, 2021 will likely be a development year for Pollard, but with his athleticism and aggression, it won’t be long before we see Barker College product in Super Rugby.
