Billy Pollard is a young Australian rugby player who is currently part of the Brumbies rugby team. He joined the Brumbies Academy after graduating from high school and chose rugby over league, despite interest from league clubs.
In 2019, he was a part of the Australian Schoolboys team that went unbeaten in New Zealand, where he showcased his dynamic style of play. He also played for Uni-Norths in the ACT club rugby.
At the Brumbies, Pollard is primarily a hooker but his athleticism and aggression make him a versatile player who can also play in the back row. While he is still a developing player, with three experienced hookers already in the Brumbies squad, Pollard is expected to continue his development in 2021.
Pollard is a product of Barker College, a prestigious private school in Sydney known for producing talented rugby players. With his promising abilities, it won't be long before Pollard makes his mark in Super Rugby.
