After five seasons at Biarritz Olympique, where he played 69 games, Placines signed up with Stade Toulousain at the end of the 2017-2018 season.
An excellent tackler and very mobile in the game, Placines shows the full extent of his potential throughout each game. He became champion of France in 2019.
