Valerio Bernabo arrived at Benetton Treviso coming from his hometown, Rome, where he wore the jersey of Futura Park in the 2009/2010 season, after growing up in New York. Among the other clubs on his C.V include Calvisano, with whom he won the Scudetto in 2005, and Brive. Valerio captained the national youth teams In 2004 and he made his debut in the National Maggiore against the United States in Biella and has since racked up several appearances in Blue.
Bernarbo is a stalwart of the national side, but he has struggled to nail down a regular place in the squad over the years. 2015 saw the veteran make his first world cup appearance after being selected in the 31-man squad for the Rugby World Cup in England.
