Krystal Murray is a formidable prop who
made her Black Ferns Test debut off the
bench against England in Exeter and was a
key contributor to the Black Ferns’ victory
in the last Rugby World Cup, scoring a try
in the final against England. That same year,
she was named the Supreme Winner of the
2023 Tai Tokerau Māori Sports Award for
her contributions, as well as being named
Northland Sportsperson of the Year and
Sportswoman of the Year at the Conbrio
Northland Sports Awards.
A proud Northland representative in
the Farah Palmer Cup, she still holds the
Union’s top women’s point-scorer and
was the leading try-scorer in the 2021
Farah Palmer Cup. She currently plays
for the Chiefs Manawa in the Sky Super
Rugby Aupiki.
