Tom Hendrickson, born on September 1, 1994, is an English professional rugby union player who currently plays for the Exeter Chiefs in Premiership Rugby. He occupies the position of centre.
Hendrickson had a notable performance on March 30, 2018, when Exeter Chiefs emerged victorious over Bath Rugby in the final of the Anglo-Welsh Cup. In the previous season, he was a replacement in the Anglo-Welsh Cup final, but Exeter suffered a defeat against Leicester Tigers.
Making his debut for the Chiefs in November 2013, Hendrickson played in an LV= Cup victory against Harlequins FC at Sandy Park. He made his first start for Exeter the following week in the LV= Cup match against Ospreys.
Hendrickson was born in Nelson, New Zealand, to a New Zealander father and a Cornish mother from Newlyn. His family moved to Cornwall when he was five years old, and he began playing rugby for the Cornish Pirates minis at the age of seven.
He later played for St Just and Redruth, and he was also a part of the Exeter Chiefs Academy setup at Truro College.
In his rugby career, Hendrickson has shown impressive development, utilizing loan spells with the Cornish Pirates in the RFU Championship to gain more significant game time with the Chiefs.
He has featured in various competitions such as the Premiership Rugby Cup, Premiership 7s, and European competitions. In the 2017/18 season, he made his Premiership debut in a 31-17 home victory against Wasps.
Known for his powerful and aggressive running style, Hendrickson adds strength and dynamism to the Chiefs' midfield.
