Titi Lamositele, born on February 11, 1995, is an American rugby union player who plays as a prop. He currently represents Montpellier in the Top 14 and also plays for the United States national team.
Lamositele made his professional debut for Saracens in March 2015, coming off the bench in an LV= Cup match against Exeter Chiefs. He played a role in Saracens' victories in the European Champions Cup in 2017 and 2019, featuring in both finals.
In February 2020, Lamositele signed with Montpellier, a prominent French club in the Top 14, ahead of the 2020-21 season.
On the international stage, Lamositele made his debut for the United States in 2013. He scored his first try for the national team during the 2015 Pacific Nations Cup match against Samoa. He has represented the U.S. at the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups.
Throughout his career, Lamositele has achieved various honors. With Saracens, he won the Premiership Rugby title three times (2015-16, 2017-18, 2018-19) and the European Rugby Champions Cup three times (2015-16, 2016-17, 2018-19). He also secured the Anglo-Welsh Cup in the 2014-15 season. After joining Montpellier, he won the Top 14 in the 2021-22 season and the European Rugby Challenge Cup in the 2020-21 season.
Lamositele's rugby journey began in 2013 after transitioning from a background in football and wrestling. He played for the USA Rugby Boys High School All-Americans before earning a call-up to the Men's Eagles national team. In August 2013, during a World Cup qualifier against Canada, he became the youngest player to represent the Eagles. Following his debut against Russia in November 2013, Lamositele signed a contract with Saracens.
Known for his talent and potential, Lamositele was part of a young core of players at Saracens who developed their game together at the club. In 2019, he was named Saracens Young Player of the Year. Despite Saracens' relegation, he chose to remain with the club and contributed to their squad for their Championship campaign.
Lamositele's career progression led him to join Montpellier in the Top 14, where he continues to make an impact as a prop.
