A young powerful Samoan tighthead prop, Suetena Asomua represented the Samoan u20 side in 2017 having attended Wesley College in New Zealand.
The following year he was involved with the New Zealand u20s but did not make the final squad for the U20 World Rugby Championship.
His efforts saw him earn a contract with Mitre 10 Cup side Counties Manukau ahead of the 2018 season.
