A well travelled and respected attacking and backs Scott Wisemantel has had stint at some of the top clubs around the world.
Wisemantel played both union and league at club level turning out for Parramatta Eels (Rugby league Club) and Eastwood Rugby Club (Rugby Union Club) in Australia.
He ventured in coaching after his playing days working Toyota Verblitz and returned to Australia to work with the Waratahs.
A short stint in France with AS Montferrand before he returned Down Under to work with numerous Australian sides including the U19 side as well as the tests, who he went with to the 2007 World Cup as the skills coach.
Two seasons at the Waratahs' as the sides backs coach followed before he went to the 2011 Rugby World as a Specialist coach with Samoa.
Stints in Japan preceded and followed his stints as Lyon's backs coach as he went to his third World Cup with Japan assisting Eddie Jones.
He joined Jake White at Montpellier after the World Cup before he joined Eddie Jones' coaching staff at England on their tour to South Africa on short-term deal that was subsequently extended until the World Cup.
During his time at the Waratahs, Wisemantel introduced the idea of his back three all working as full backs.
In 2020, Wisemantel returned to Australia signing a four-year deal with the Wallabies as Dave Rennie's assistant coach.
