Niyi Adeolokun is an Irish rugby union player known for his prowess as a winger. Born on November 3, 1990, in Ibadan, Nigeria, he moved to Ireland with his family at the age of 11.

Adeolokun had a diverse sporting background, participating in Gaelic football with Templeogue Synge Street and soccer for Shelbourne's under-20 team before discovering rugby union at De La Salle College in Churchtown.

Adeolokun's club career started at Dublin University, where he played for their senior school's cup team. In 2011 and 2012, he was part of the Dublin University Sevens team that won consecutive All-Ireland Championships.

In June 2014, he signed a one-year deal with Connacht, an Irish provincial team, after impressing during a trial with their second-tier side, Connacht Eagles.

Adeolokun made his debut for Connacht in September 2014, providing an assist for a try on his first appearance. Throughout his time with Connacht, he showcased his speed and try-scoring ability, scoring a total of eight tries in 30 PRO12/14 games during the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons.

He played a crucial role in Connacht's success, including their historic win in the 2015-16 Pro12 final against Leinster, where he scored a try.

In November 2016, Adeolokun received his first call-up to the senior Ireland team and made his international debut as a replacement against Canada. Although he has only earned one cap for Ireland, he represented the Barbarians in their memorable victory over England in May 2018.

Adeolokun joined Bristol Bears in August 2020 on a short-term contract for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, which was later extended for another year. In March 2021, he further extended his stay at Bristol Bears, signing a new one-year deal.

With a total of 94 appearances for Connacht, one cap for Ireland, and being a try-scorer in Connacht's PRO14 title-winning campaign under coach Pat Lam, Niyi Adeolokun has established himself as a talented and experienced winger in the world of rugby union.
