Michelle Claffey

Claffey has a rich sporting background; her uncle, Kieran Claffey, was part of the Offaly side that won the All-Ireland senior football championship in 1971.

She won Division 4 of the National League with Offaly back in 2004, having also represented the county at minor level in her formative years.

After secondary school, Claffey won the inter-provincial titles with Leinster and represent Ireland on the international stage.

In January 2019, she was named in the Ireland Women squad for the 2019 Women's Six Nations.

Claffey has once again been named for the Ireland squad ahead of the 2020 Women's Six Nations. She has had 7 appearances and will be looking to add to this total.
