Matt Gibbon (born 3 June 1995) is an Australian rugby union player who has made a name for himself as a talented prop. He currently plays for the Rebels in the Super Rugby competition.
Gibbon was born and raised in Alstonville, a town located in the NSW Far North Coast region of Australia. He developed a passion for rugby at a young age and attended Nudgee College in Brisbane, where he represented the Australian Schools team in 2013. This experience helped him showcase his skills and lay the foundation for his future in the sport.
Gibbon is known for his prowess as a scrummager and ball carrier. He honed his skills playing for the Southern Districts club in Sydney and also had the opportunity to represent the Western Sydney Rams in 2015 and 2016.
