Mateo Sanguinetti is from Montevideo, Uruguay
Sanguinetti made his debut in 2014 Paraguay vs Uruguay at Asuncion.
In December 2018 he signed with professional American club Houston SaberCats for the 2019 Major League Rugby season
He was selected for Uruguay's squad in the RWC 2015 and 2019 competitions.
He is one of Uruguay's most experienced players racking up a total 71 tests, including 7 Rugby World Cup appearances.
In 2021, Sanguinetti played for French Pro D2 team Massy where played 20 matches in the 21/22 season.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023,Sanguinetti has been named in the squad for Uruguay.
