An uncompromising flanker Mahamdou Diaby started his professional career with Racing Metro in 2011 but failed to make his senior debut for the club before moving to Oyonnax in 2013.
Ahead of the 2014/15 season he signed for Grenoble, where he made over 40 appearances for the club before they were relegated to the Pro D2, after a poor 2016/17 season.
In May 2017, Mahamadou signed for Bordeaux from Grenoble on a three-year deal until 2020.
