Luteru Tolai, born on 1 June 1998 in New Zealand, is a talented rugby union player who currently represents the Blues in Super Rugby. He primarily plays as a hooker, a key position in the forward pack.

Tolai began his rugby journey at St Peter's College in Auckland, where he played for the school team. He then continued his development by joining Northcote RFC. His skills and potential caught the attention of the North Harbour rugby union, and in 2018 he made his debut for North Harbour in the Mitre 10 Cup, New Zealand's domestic provincial competition.

In the Super Rugby arena, Tolai made his debut for the Blues in round 5 of the 2020 season, coming off the bench against the Stormers. This marked his entry into the elite level of professional rugby. Additionally, Tolai is also a part of the Super Rugby franchise Moana Pasifika, further showcasing his abilities at a higher level of competition.
