JP du Preez is a South African rugby player who currently plays as a second-rower for Glasgow Warriors. He joined the team in the summer of 2022, transferring from Sale Sharks.

One notable aspect of du Preez's career is his height, as he holds the record for being the tallest player to have played in a Super Rugby match, standing at 6'10". He made his Super Rugby debut for the Emirates Lions in 2015.

Before his move to Sale Sharks, du Preez played for the Cheetahs in the Guinness PRO14 between 2018 and 2020, where he made 31 appearances. He also had a brief stint with the Golden Lions in Johannesburg, helping them reach the final of the 2013 Under-19 Provincial Championship.
