Green began his rugby career aged six, at Leicestershire based club Syston. From there, he was picked up by the Tigers academy, spending two years at the East Midlands setup.
Green was picked up by Nottingham in the summer of 2015, aged 18, and made his full senior debut in November 2015.
A young prospect in the second row, Joe’s skill set and physicality are far greater than his age suggests.
In 2018, Green signed a deal with Yorkshire Carnegie, featuring 11 times in the Championship and Championship Cup.
He was called into the England U20s training squad for the 2020 six nations and also featured for Sale Sharks in the 2018 Premiership Sevens.
Cousin to Bath scrum half Max Green, Joe signed a deal with Doncaster Knights in August 2021.
