Davies began playing his rugby at Caldicot RFC before moving into the Dragons Academy set-up.
Capped by Wales U20’s the Lock has also played for Principality Premiership side Bedwas where he learnt his trade under the watchful eyes of Steve Law and Ian Gardner.
Davies made his senior Dragons appearance in 2013, in a Welsh Regional derby against Scarlets in the LV=Cup.
The talented lock was also named in the Wales U20s squad in the 2014 U20s Six Nations where he made six appearances for his country.
The first half of the 2017/18 has seen the lock make nine appearances before he signed a three-year deal with the Dragons.
As of the 2019/20 season, he has made 62 appearances for Dragons.
