Janko Swanepoel, born on 8 September 1999, is a South African rugby union player currently playing for the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup. His primary position is as a lock.
Swanepoel was included in the Blue Bulls squad for their Round 5 match of the 2020–21 Currie Cup Premier Division against the Golden Lions. He made his debut in that fixture, coming on as a replacement player.
Throughout his career, Swanepoel has achieved notable honors, including winning the Currie Cup in 2021 and finishing as a runner-up in the Pro14 Rainbow Cup and United Rugby Championship in the same year.
With a height of 2.00 meters and weighing 114 kilograms, Swanepoel is a strong presence in the lock position. He has also represented the Vodacom Bulls in addition to his appearances for the Blue Bulls.
Swanepoel attended Stellenberg School before embarking on his rugby career.
