Former Wexford Wanderers youths and minis player Jack Stafford is currently involved with the Munster set up.
After growing through the Wanderers minis system, Jack achieved success with the Under-12 side, winning a Leinster title while playing scrum-half.
The move to secondary school saw Jack re-locate to Glenstal Abbey School in rural County Limerick.
Jack's talent was identified by the Munster Schools management, and was involved in the Munster Rugby Development Academy and featured in the inter-provincial series-winning Munster Under-18 side in 2014.
Jack's ability to cover any position from scrum-half, out-half and centre has on some levels affected his progress as his impact from the bench in any position has been a tactic of the Munster teams he has been involved in.
He made progress to the Munster Under-19 side where he featured in all six competitive matches, usually impacting on a game from the bench and accruing a total of 24 points in the series including a try scored in each of his preferred positions.
Shortly before Christmas Jack was invited to become part of the Munster Under-20 side to continue his rugby development.
Jack is playing his club rugby for Shannon in UBL 1A and was recently named in the Ireland U20 squad for the upcoming internationals.
