Frank Lomani

Frank Lomani, born on April 18, 1996, is a Fijian rugby union player who primarily plays as a scrum-half.

He has played for various teams throughout his career, including the Fijian Drua in the National Rugby Championship and the Fijian Latui in the Global Rapid Rugby competition.

He has also trained with the Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels and played for them in the 2020 and 2021 seasons. In August 2021, it was announced that Lomani would be moving to the Northern Hemisphere to play for the Northampton Saints in the English Premiership.

However, in February 2022, he was released from the Saints to pursue another playing opportunity overseas.

Lomani made his test debut for Fiji against Samoa in July 2017, coming off the bench for Henry Seniloli. By the end of 2018, he had earned eight test caps and was part of Fiji's victory over France in November of that year.

He was also selected to represent the Barbarians in a match against Argentina.

During the 2017 NPC Championship in Australia, Lomani played for the Fijian Drua and helped them win the competition in their second year of participation.

In 2019, he turned down offers from England and France to play for the Fijian Latui in the Rapid Rugby showcase before joining the Melbourne Rebels for the 2020 Super Rugby season. He made 25 appearances for the Rebels in the Super Rugby competition.

In August 2021, Lomani signed with the Northampton Saints in the English Premiership. However, in February 2022, he was released from his contract with the Saints to pursue another playing opportunity abroad.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023,Lomani has been named in the training squad for Fiji.
