Domingo Saavedra, twin brother to Clemente also plays for Selknam but in the position of centre. He is just 1.79m tall.
Saavedra has played for Selknam since 2019. In the current 2022/23 season thus far, he has made eight appearances in the Super Rugby Americas.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Saavedra has been named in the training squad for Chile.
