Ben Donaldson, born on April 4, 1999, is an Australian professional rugby union player known for his skills as a fly-half. He currently plays for the Waratahs in Super Rugby and has represented the Australia national team.
Donaldson made his international debut for Australia on November 13, 2022, during the Autumn Nations Cup. He came on as a substitute for Noah Lolesio in the 75th minute of the game against Italy. Although the Wallabies lost the match 28-27, it marked the beginning of Donaldson's international career.
In the following round of the tour against Wales, Donaldson earned a starting position at fly-half. He played a crucial role, converting two penalties and scoring a conversion, contributing to Australia's 39-34 victory over Wales.
Prior to his senior national team debut, Donaldson was a member of the Junior Wallabies training squad in 2018. In 2019, he continued his development as a player, being included in the NSW Waratahs squad and playing a significant role for the Sydney Rays.
