Tucker represented the New Zealand U20s during the 2018 season before signing for Canterbury.
He was announced in the Highlanders touring squad of South Africa and Argentina in March 2020.
Tucker acquired a deal with Otago ahead of the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup season.
His brother, James, plays for Waikato and also the Brumbies in Super Rugby.
In January 2022, Tucker signed a deal with Major League Rugby side, Rugby United New York.
