Teddy Zachery Berwyn Pai Stanaway-Teo better known as Teddy Stanaway made his debut for the senior Auckland rugby team in 2009 against Counties Manukau in a pre-season game and is part of the full squad for the 2009 Air New Zealand Cup.
Stanaway's performances in 2009 lead to a New Zealand U-20 call-up ahead of the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship.
Stanaway left Auckland in 2014 and joined Bay of Plenty.
Later that year he was called into the New Zealand 7s side for the World Sevens Series.
He has since become a regular in the Bay of Plenty squad and the national sevens squad.
