Born in 1980 in Suva, Fiji, Sireli Naqelevuki has tried his hand at both the 7's and 15's formats of the game. While operating at prop in the 7's game, Naqelevuki has developed into a rampaging centre in the 15's game. Feared by defenders across the game, he is known for his hard running style and ability to get a deft offload away through the tackle. Since representing Fiji in the IRB Sevens between 2002 and 2007, the giant Fijian has had stints with Western Province in the Currie Cup, the Stormers and Exeter Chiefs, his current club. Naqelevuki's career has not been without controversy however, particularly his 7's career, having tested positive for cannabis in his body during the George leg of the 2007 IRB Sevens Series.
