Sama Malolo, born on 19 February 1998, is an Australian rugby union player who primarily plays as a hooker. He is currently a member of the San Diego Legion, a team in Major League Rugby (MLR) in the United States.
Malolo previously played for the Rebels in the Super Rugby competition, which is one of the premier rugby union leagues in the southern hemisphere. Prior to joining the San Diego Legion, he also represented the Utah Warriors in the MLR.
As a hooker, Malolo is responsible for playing a crucial role in the scrums and lineouts, and he contributes to the team's set-piece execution and the general play of the forwards.
Ahead of the World Rugby Cup 2023, Malolo has been named in the squad for Samoa.
