Michael Tagicakibau

Younger brother of London Irish speedster Sailosi, Michael Tagicakibau was born in 1985 in Auckland, New Zealand but qualifies to represent Fiji.

Despite his older brother representing Samoa, Michael chose to play under the flag of Fiji and made his international debut in 2007 against Tonga. Having impressed for London Welsh during his brief stint at the club, Tagicakibau was signed up by Saracens' head coach Brendan Venter.

The powerful winger played for Bristol for a season before returning to Saracens for a fourth season in the English Premiership. In 2014, the New Zealand born Fijian international signed for the Scarlets and has been a regular name in the Scarlets senior XV.

In May 2016, he signed to join Benetton Treviso's 2016/17 campaign.

Tagicakibau made 7 PRO12 appearances for Treviso in his debut season scoring 1 try. He made only three appearances with the club during the 2017/18 season before signing a deal to return to New Zealand.

He joins Manawatu Turbos ahead of the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup season.
