Hawkins started playing rugby when she was 10 years old. She currently plays for Lindenwood University. Hawkins was honored as the recipient for the Sorenson Award in 2018. She debuted for the Eagles at The Rugby Weekend in Chicago, IL.
She earned three test caps for USA by June 2019.
