Max Lahiff, born on December 9, 1989, is an English rugby union player who plays as a loosehead prop for Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership.
Lahiff began his rugby career at London Irish, where he made over 50 appearances in four years. Known for his strong scrummaging and technique, he gained a reputation for his physical style of play.
In 2013, Lahiff moved to New Zealand to join Hawke's Bay, and the following year, he played for the Melbourne Rebels in the Super Rugby competition. During his time with the Rebels, he also represented the NSW Country Eagles in the National Rugby Championship.
In 2015, Lahiff signed a contract with Bath Rugby. His impressive performances, particularly in the scrum, caught the attention of the coaching staff. He scored a try on his debut for Bath against Ospreys and subsequently re-signed with the club for an additional two years.
In July 2019, Lahiff agreed to join French Top 14 team Clermont as cover during the Rugby World Cup. However, the deal was canceled due to a medical issue. Following this, he signed with Bristol Bears, where he continues to contribute his skills as a loosehead prop.
Lahiff has accumulated significant experience, playing over 100 Premiership matches throughout his career. His strength in the scrum and consistent performances have made him a valuable asset to the teams he has represented.
