Younger brother of Carter Gordon, Mason produced an impressive final year at the prestigious Brisbane Boys’ College in which he was recognised by Quest Community News as the second-best player in the Top 16 player rankings across the GPS, AIC and Langer Cup schoolboy competitions.
This lead to a contract with the Rebels right out of school signing with the side ahead of the 2021 Super Rugby season.
