Julian Salvi is a former Australian Schools and Under-21 captain and also has also represented Australia 'A' in two IRB Pacific Nations Cup campaigns.
The robust loose forward was a regular with the Brumbies in Super Rugby and also sis a one-season stint with bath before joining Leicester. As an openside he adds great value at ruck time, but is also a strong ball-carrier when called upon
Salvi was twice nominated for the Premiership's Player of the Year award while at Leicester and is a former Australia Under-21 captain.
Julian agreed to join the Chiefs in May 2015 and became a key part in the side that reached the Premiership final. He suffered a bicep injury in October 2016 that ruled him out for the year.
Salvi signed a one year deal in March 2017 that saw him remain at the club until the end of the 2017/18 season when he retired from rugby.
