Jordi Viljoen is a South African Born scrumhalf. has strong ties to Springbok rugby and history. In 2023 he was selected to play for the Junior All Blacks, Viljoen is the grandson of Joachim Frederick Viljoen, fondly known as Joggie. Joggie is a Springbok, boasting six caps that he earned in the 70s, while his father, Joggie Jnr, represented Western Province, the Stormers and SA Schools in his heyday in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Jordi Viljoen was selected in the New Zealand squad for the 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship which took place in South Africa.
Although Viljoen was born in Pretoria, he was young when his family relocated to New Zealand, where he grew up.
