Eissmann plays for Selknam in the lock position. He played for Selknam in the Super Liga Americana from 2019 - 2022. In February 2019 he made his first test debut for Chile in a match against USA.
In the 2022/23 season thus far, Eissmann has played five matches for Selknam in the Super Rugby Americas, starting in all five and scoring one try which added five points to his tally.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Eissmann has been named in the training squad for Chile.
