Harry Joseph Thacker, born on February 18, 1994, is an English rugby union player known for his exceptional skills as a hooker. He currently plays for Bristol Bears in Premiership Rugby. Thacker's father, Troy Thacker, was also a hooker who played for the Leicester Tigers, and his younger brother, Charlie, is part of the Nottingham team in the RFU Championship.
Thacker began his professional rugby career with the Leicester Tigers, where he made an impressive 70 appearances between 2013 and 2018. He had a breakthrough season in 2015/16, playing a vital role in the Tigers' journey to the semi-finals of the Aviva Premiership and the European Cup. Thacker's outstanding performance, including a remarkable try against Northampton Saints, earned him recognition as Try of the Season in the Premiership Awards.
