Harry Ascherl, a center, agreed to professional terms with the Bristol Bears Academy in July 2020 after already featuring in the senior setup.
Ascherl, who developed his rugby skills at Clifton College and Old Bristolians', made his debut in the Premiership Shield for Bristol Bears in 2018. Since then, he has been training regularly with the senior squad under the guidance of head coach Pat Lam.
Ascherl's potential was evident as he captained the Bears Academy U18s team. He had the opportunity to travel with the first team to France during the 2019 pre-season tour. Additionally, he has made appearances for the Bristol Bears 'A' side during the current campaign.
With his progress and performance, Ascherl earned a professional contract with the Bristol Bears Academy, solidifying his commitment to the club and signaling his potential for future success in his rugby career.
