Haereiti Hetet, born on July 10, 1997, is a Fijian rugby union player known for his position as a prop. He currently plays for Bay of Plenty in the National Provincial Championship.
Hetet's rugby career includes various achievements and playing records. In the 2018 and 2019 seasons, he represented Waikato in the Bunnings NPC, earning eight caps. He also had the opportunity to play for the New Zealand Maori team, making two appearances in 2019.
Hetet made his debut for the Fiji national team, known as the Flying Fijians, in 2020 during a match against Georgia. He has earned two caps for Fiji so far. In the same year, he also played for Bay of Plenty in the Bunnings NPC.
One of Hetet's notable achievements was being part of the Flying Fijians team during the Autumn Nations Cup in 2020. He made a winning debut in the tournament against Georgia.
Apart from his rugby career, Hetet has an interesting hobby. He enjoys free diving for oysters and other seafood in New Zealand.
It's worth mentioning that Hetet is the son of Joeli Veitayaki, a former prop who played for the Flying Fijians.
